Hey folks!

Earlier today, we rolled out Ushahidi Open Source v3.1.0!

What’s in it?

A sneak peek into some of the things to expect from this release:-

Have a look at our release notes(and v3.1 milestone) for more details on changes in this release.

You can also review changes rolled out to our hosted service on ushahidi.com on this blog post announcement.

Coming up next?

First and foremost, we’re working on adjusting the product based on YOUR feedback, so we can better meet your needs and expectations.

Secondly, we are planning on releasing our Responder plan by the end of the year. In addition to the core features in our Surveyor plan, it will include the ability to create custom user roles, private deployments, and CSV import and export . Once we’ve released Responder, our team is going to finish building a migration tool from V2 to V3.

Join us for community testing!

We’re still on for community testing until 25th November 2015.

How to share your feedback

Make sure to review our guide on how to submit a good bug report here.

Co-testing days!

We’re all set for our next co-testing day on Friday, 20th November 2015. If you’re in Nairobi, join us for a physical testing session between 9:00a.m and 5:00p.m at the South to South Lab, ground floor bishop magua building.

Ping us on IRC/Hipchat/Gitter if you have any questions :). (Posting on any one of these channels will post on all three of them simultaneously.)

… and help us translate!

We could use your help getting our v3 on Transifex translations up to 80% (See our Translators Power Ushahidi Campaign). Here’s a quick guide on how to get started
