We just released another beta version of Ushahidi v3.
A sneak peek into some of the things to expect from this release:-
New features like:-
Viewing Collections and Saved Searches.
Adding posts to collections
Configuring twitter data sources and pulling in messages based on hashtags/other search terms
Improvements such as
An updated user profile editor
A cleaned up and fixed timeline view
Better authentication handling. Users are only redirected to login when necessary
AND SO MUCH MORE :)

Take it out for a spin on our demo site. It’s not quite ready for production, but is close enough for you to play around with and share feedback with us on.
Log in credentials for the test site are as follows:-
username: demo
password: testing
You’ll be able to create your own saved searches and collections of posts. Finally, you won't be stuck with just the defaults ;)!
We recently updated our repository for v3 on Transifex, removing old strings and updating new ones based on the recent changes. We could use your help getting translations up to 80% (See our Translators Power Ushahidi Campaign). Here’s a quick guide on how to get started
