Happy New Year Everyone!

We just released another beta version of Ushahidi v3. This is milestone 3 of 3 towards the first non-beta release! The next release will be a sprint in this milestone series, released two weeks from now.

What’s new with V3.0.0-beta.12?

Here’s what you can expect from this release:-

Improvements include: (NOTE: Items marked with (f) are frontend changes.)

(f) User profile editing completed
(f) User management screen completed

Improvements

(f) additional tests added for common services
(f) better integration with user session data

Take it out for a spin on our demo site, but keep in mind that this is not ready for production, but we continue to get closer. (Username: demo; Password: testing.)

Attention v2.x deployers! We STILL need you :)!

Datasets: Talk to us about the types of statistics data and visualizations that would be most useful to you by chiming into this phabricator task. We’re still looking for v2.x deployers to share datasets with us for testing out data visualisations on v3. Get in touch with Sara Jayne Terp and/or Angela Oduor.
Community Paths: We want to better understand how to meet your goals and expectations on v3 based on your experience with Ushahidi v2. We want to know how the tool helps or hinders you from achieving your deployment goals. Take a few minutes of your time this week and share your experiences with us. Instructions here
