Hi Folks!!

We announced a bug fix release of Ushahidi, dubbed v2.7.4 last evening. We knocked out a couple of bugs and improvements such as:

Password validation errors
Runtime errors in settings and when submitting reports
Updating Openlayers to v2.13.1
Addition of missing files during a fresh install

Crowdmap Classic should be updated to match this release by 6^th August, 2014. Communication on this will be made once the update is complete

As always, this release happened with the help of our greater community. Huge thanks to all of you who sent in those bug reports, pull requests, translations, questions and comments. These went a long way in making this release happen.

Even as we move forward with development on v3, we definitely encourage you to keep sending in those pull requests and sending in your translation contributions on v2!!

Looking towards v3!

We’re getting closer and closer to launching the new version of Ushahidi(v3), and want to make sure that what we envision matches what you envision from the revamped platform.

Community Paths: We want to better understand how to meet your goals and expectations on v3 based on your experience with Ushahidi v2.
