It’s finally here.
After months of hard work
from the Ushahidi ninjas, version 2.7 of the Ushahidi platform, dubbed Bamako
has been released. It’s quite a huge upgrade, inclusive of some security
patches.

2.7 Includes the following updates:
IMPORTANT! : TWITTER
UPDATES FOR ALL USERS, including Crowdmap users.
Twitter recently made changes to their API. This means that all
users(inclusive of crowdmap) need to adjust their twitter settings on their
deployments. You can find detailed
instructions on how to do so on our wiki.
The
security
patch details are available on our
wiki.
A list of compatible
plugins should also be available on the wiki.

For crowdmap users, Brian
and Evan already have all your deployments upgraded for you J.
