If there are going to be big changes with 2.7 or 2.8 regarding themeing, it honestly might be prudent to wait for that, given those changes would require redocumentation to anything done now. That said, it would be a great gesture and good advertising for the new version, when that functionality is released, to first and absolutely review this documentation but also creating a quick screencast as well. Maybe a downloadable starter theme as well.
Thanks Farid.
There have been a few people writing/talking about themes lately. Eg. Arabic with right to left writing.
While we have some theme documentation on the wiki, what other ways can we make it easier to theme?

Hi Robbie,Nice work you do my dear,I am talking about give the normal user ability to change the theme feature and using his custom design at the admin backend as it will be theme options tab, At this tab the user can also add news slider from reports feed and widget to add any iframe or embedded...It will be great to work together, best,FaridFrom: Robbie MacKaySent: Monday, November 19, 2012 11:33 PMTo: Farid BoushraSubject: Re: The themes projectHi Farid,I'm not sure what're your actually working on here, can you explain a bit more?We already have themes, however I know there are some difficulties with customising them.I've been working on making it easier to extend themes without having to fight the current core CSS. This should also include LTR css support, and some other CSS/HTML clean up.Robbie
